Key West, 1971: A cosmetic chemist vacationing in Key West gets the sunburn of his life and is introduced to Aloe vera by locals. He is amazingly impressed with the benefits he sees and feels from the Aloe.
Immediately Following: Enterprising chemist and his partner set out with pure determination to bring the benefits of Aloe to the skin care industry at large. At the time, little was known about the now go-to sunburn remedy, and the term “SPF” had only recently been coined. From their small storefront on Front Street in Key West, Romano and Liska pioneer a new field, blending 100% pure, Aloe based products with high performing ingredients and capturing the alluring tropical scents of the Florida Keys. Almost immediately, the two gained a fiercely loyal customer base.
Today: Still Florida based today, and with multiple stores in Key West, Key West Aloe offers one of the largest selections of 100% Lab -Certified Aloe based personal care products in the world, and is committed to the highest standards of product quality, performance, and customer service. With new branding, new packaging, and renewed vigor, KWA is again setting out to bring the benefits of Aloe to skin care products worldwide.
